Frontend Engineer and Designer

About

I started as a designer and became a frontend engineer.

From 2012 to 2018, I built responsive websites from concept to delivery, leading UI and visual design directly with clients. In 2019, I moved into frontend engineering. Since then, I have built production React, Next.js, and TypeScript products with designers, back-end developers, and product and business teams.

That background shapes how I work: I care about how an interface reads on the surface, and about the rules, states, and tests underneath it.

Experience

Six-plus years of frontend engineering, built on six years of design and web work before that.
